Engineering plastic bushing
A sliding bearing is a component installed between a shaft and a bearing housing to prevent direct contact during relative motion, thereby reducing wear on moving parts. Typically, most bearings require periodic lubrication to function properly. In contrast, SAVI sliding bearings do not require any lubricant; they are maintenance-free and offer an economical alternative to metal sliding bearings.
Linear sliding bearing
The sliding bearing is made from the self-lubricating, high-performance SAVI‑J series material, offering maintenance-free operation, lightweight construction, and wear resistance. The bearing housing can be selected from stainless steel, hard-anodized aluminum, or all-plastic options. Since no additional lubricant is required, the bearing surface accumulates minimal deposits. Moreover, the sliding bearing's unique grooved structure further reduces the impact of sand, gravel, and contaminants, thereby extending the bearing's service life. With dimensions identical to those of conventional recirculating ball bearings, it allows for a one‑to‑one replacement when retiring obsolete bearings.
Linear guide rails, slider
In ball-type linear bearings, the high stress generated by each steel ball during its rolling cycle is the primary cause of low load capacity and high noise levels. In virtually all application areas, recirculating ball linear bearings can be replaced by SAVI series products. drylin is a dry‑running linear motion technology based on sliding rather than rolling; by employing high‑performance engineering plastics as the sliding elements, it enables operation without external lubricants or greases while delivering high load capacity and excellent shock absorption.
